Julie Bowen Gets Dragged By The Devil In Hysteria Trailer
Heavy metal meets Satan in the newest look at Peacock’s Hysteria.
Set amidst the “Satanic Panic” of the late 1980s, Hysteria follows the peculiar disappearance of a popular varsity quarterback. The trailer depicts three highschoolers — Dylan (Emjay Anthony), Spud (Kezii Curtis), and Jordy (Chiara Aurelia) — struggling to become a successful heavy metal band. With the quarterback’s disappearance causing a stir, Dylan advises they should play into the “Satanic” persona.
While their popularity is boosted, they unlock an evil spirit that leads all eyes to them including Dylan’s mother (Julie Bowen). Bloody pentagrams are just the surface of what results in a bizarre series of murders, witch hunts, kidnappings, and other paranormal phenomena.
Anna Camp, Nikki Hahn, Bruce Campbell, Garret Dillahunt, Nolan North, Elijah Richardson, Milly Shapiro, Allison Scagliotti, and Jessica Treska round out the cast.
Hysteria premieres October 18 on Peacock.
