The trailer for the much-anticipated Pretty Little Liars: Summer School has arrived and it looks like A’s mother is coming for our favorite final girls.
The events of last season have left the girls grades in the toilet. This requires them to balance summer school with therapy sessions with Dr Sullivan, which sees former Pretty Little Liars actress Annabeth Gish return to the franchise. While A is on death row and can’t hurt them, it seems like this should be a perfect summer, right? Outside of summer school, the girls work to balance summer jobs, flings, and friendship. That is until they are targeted by Bloody Rose Waters, a creepy pasta legend around Archie and Angela Water’s mother Rose Waters. Cue Bananarama’s “Cruel Summer.”
Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles, Maia Reficco, and Mallory Bechtel reprise their roles in this second season, while Gish, Ava Capri, Antonio Cipriano, and Noah Alexander Gerry are new additions to the cast.
Can they come together to stop this new horror? Pretty Little Liars: Summer School hits Max on May 9.
