HBO Releases Official Teaser And First Look Images For House of the Dragon Season 2
The wait is finally over and war wages on — HBO has officially released the season two trailer of their much anticipated prequel series House of the Dragon during its CCXP23 panel in São Paulo, Brazil. Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen.
From the trailer alone, season two looks to promise more dragon warfare (wink, wink) and several of the main cast gearing up for battle on their dragons. Speaking of the talented and brilliant cast, we can expect to see Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans returning for season two. Additional returning cast includes Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall, and Matthew Needham.
House of the Dragon is also expanding on their cast and it’s confirmed we can anxiously get ready to see Clinton Liberty as Addam of Hull, Jamie Kenna as Ser Alfred Broome, Kieran Bew as Hugh, Tom Bennett as Ulf, Tom Taylor as Lord Cregan Stark, and Vincent Regan as Ser Rickard Thorne.
The fiery eight-episode second season will debut this upcoming summer in 2024 on HBO and will be available to stream on Max.
