Tangled is finally getting a live-action adaptation! We are thrilled that the 2010 hit Disney animated film is coming back to the big screen with The Greatest Showman filmmaker Michael Gracey in talks to direct the film. With a spectacular film like The Greatest Showman on his résumé, we are so excited to see what Gracey does with the beloved story. After over a decade of waiting, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider are coming to life. The only question left is: who should play them? Let’s break down our top selections for Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, and the infamous Mother Gothel.
Florence Pugh as Rapunzel
