Certified heartthrob Glen Powell is taking on a new role in Netflix’s Hit Man.

Inspired by real life events, the movie follows an undercover cop posing as a hit man… that is until he meets the love of his life. This woman happens to be a client who ignites a string of events ending in deception, romance, and a slew of criminal activity.

Hit Man comes from Academy Award-nominated writer and director Richard Linklater. Glen Powell co-writes with Linklater along with starring in the film with Adria Arjona.

Hit Man debuts on Netflix on June 7.
