First Look Images From Heartstopper Season 3 Reveal New Character

There’s less than 100 days to go until the return of Heartstopper and dedicated fans of the series could not be more excited!

Netflix released first look images for season 3 and it seems like all of our favorite characters are returning. Fans of the books have been able to identify some key moments as to what these stills are from. Some highlights include a sweet moment between siblings Charlie (Joe Locke) and Tori (Jenny Walser), a dancing shot of Elle (Yasmin Finney) and Tao (William Gao), and Isaac (Tobie Donovan) reading beside Charlie.

The image most fans were keen to see features Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie standing opposite one another outside while Nick has wet hair. To most, this may seem innocuous, but to fans of the book this is a special moment. In the books, Charlie tells Nick that he loves him while Nick is in the shower, then Charlie proceeds to run out of the house. Surprised and delighted, Nick runs out of the shower, gets dressed as quickly as possible to catch Charlie walking home and returns the highly anticipated “I love you.”

The biggest surprise of the image batch drop was the introduction of Oliver, being played by Jensen Clayden! In the books, Oliver is the younger brother of Charlie and Tori Spring. However, in the series, he will be making more of a festive cameo appearance as Charlie and Tori’s younger cousin.

Stream the first two season of Heartstopper now on Netflix and don’t miss season 3 out October 3.
