First Look At Alex Newell Serving Holiday Cheer In Zoey’s Extraordinary Christmas

November 1 officially means the start of the holiday season and to celebrate The Roku Channel shared a first look at Zoey's Extraordinary Christmas, a film continuation of NBC's cancelled-too-soon hit Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist.

The film picks up right where the series left off and will see all of the original cast returns to their roles. In the first sneak peek, Alex Newell’s character Mo can’t contain their Christmas cheer while at the mall with Jane Levy’s Zoey. They break out into “The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year,” while it seems Zoey is bringing the Grinch vibes to the holiday season. The riffs, the runs…Newell absolutely SLAYS the track and will definitely be a song I’ll have on repeat this Christmas. Now I can’t wait to hear the rest of the festive songs in the film.

Zoey’s Extraordinary Christmas is the first Roku Originals Film for the company, which seems like the perfect pick due to the show’s large fanbase. The film will stream on The Roku Channel on December 1.
