Evil Is Born In The First Omen Trailer
What happens when a young woman is sent to Rome to begin a life of service to the church and encounters a dark spirit that makes her question everything? The First Omen has your answers! The prequel to the classic horror film follows Margaret Daino (Nell Tiger Free) on this journey to uncover the terrifying conspiracies.
The trailer shows Daino talking about a lonely girl at the orphanage named Carlita. A fellow nun tells her that she suffers from a touch of madness and others warn her about the girl as well. While the girls play a game similar to Ring Around The Rosie, a drenched nun stands on top of a balcony before igniting a match. The church will go to any lengths in order to maintain power as public rallies and fires break out. It’s revealed that they suspect Carlita to be the mother of Damien where all evil is born. A haunting end proceeds as Daino whispers “It’s not real” to herself before an unknown voice says, “What’s not real?” and a bloody figure pops out.
Tawfeek Barhom, Sonia Braga, Ralph Ineson, Charles Dance, and Bill Nighy round out the cast.
The First Omen premieres April 5 in theaters.
