Emily in Paris Season 4 Brings Even More Fashion and Chaos

tv

Emily in Paris season 4 part 1 is officially out! Fans were so excited for this release, especially after that cliffhanger at the end of season 3.

With Camille (Camille Razat) pregnant and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) ghosting Emily, Emily (Lily Collins) yet again throws herself into her career, which is also left in complete disaster. Now, viral videos of Emily are all over the Internet, which could potentially ruin her and Agence Grateau all together. There is so much drama and I love how the beginning of the season throws us right into the chaos.

When Camille goes missing, Emily finds her and they have a heart to heart about everything. After the ‘no Gabriel’ pact was broken by both of them, they came to a better understanding about their feelings. I felt this was so necessary and it only took us four whole seasons to get there! It was also nice to see the little moments between the core three girls: Emily, Mindy, and Camille. I love the friendship Lily Collins, Ashley Park, and Camille Razat have and it just grows throughout the series.

In another turn of events, after Camille and her girlfriend Sofie start becoming more serious, Gabriel and Emily finally have their chance to be together. I have been a Gabriel supportor since the first episode of the very first season. I am obsessed with their chemistry and I love how Lucas Bravo plays the character. And, as much as I love Alfie, my heart has always belonged to Gabriel.

Season 4 brought out new sides to our favorite side characters, especially Julian (Samuel Arnold) and Luc (Bruno Gouery). Julian takes charge of his own career by leaving Agence Grateau, but soon comes back and gains even more respect from the gang. Meanwhile, Luc (Bruno Gouery) finally has a love interest with the return of his old girlfriend who happens to be a Michelin Star food critic. Part 1 leaves us off with a bit of mystery between the two, as it is revealed she lied to him about the success of her career.

In episode four, Emily finds herself living in a ‘grey area’ of her life. Gabriel is still there for Camille, and Sofie and Emily both find themselves in an uncomfortable position with this new blended family dynamic. Though a bit strange, I thought it worked for them.

Though their problems will soon come to a full halt when we discover that Camille isn’t even pregnant at all. Talk about a plot twist! I should have seen that coming, but it was a very interesting way to end part 1 of the season. Now we have so many questions. How will Camille tell everyone? What is next for Agence Grateau? You know, besides a really strange skin-care line. I can’t wait to find out.

Everything really felt elevated in season 4, from the storyline to the fashion. There were bigger reveals and even more iconic performances from Mindy and her band. I am very much looking forward to binging part 2!

Emily in Paris season 4 part 1 is out on Netflix now.
