A24 Music Reveals Paramore To Be Featured On Talking Heads Tribute Album

Amid the end of their 20 year deal with Atlantic Records, Paramore and A24 posted a video on social media announcing the restoration tribute album “Stop Making Sense” by Talking Heads. The album will feature 16 artists covering all songs from their 1984 live album.

In the teaser clip, lead singer Hayley Williams receives a package and runs down a hall to open it. As she opens the box, she pulls out what seems to be the jacket David Byrne, lead singer and guitarist of Talking Heads, wears on the original album. The shot pans over to a confused Taylor York and Zac Ferro. Williams pulls out a Talking Heads cassette, saying, “I’ve got a tape I’d like to play you.” At the end, we get a short preview of their cover of “Burning Down The House.”

The remaining 15 artists have not been released yet, but fans are excited and so am I!
