The Wilds Season 2 Trailer Introduces A New Set Of Test Subjects
There were always two islands…
Once upon a time, two plane crashes were staged. All of the victims were dosed and stranded on two islands. Eight on one, eight on the other. Though that number was subject to change.
Prime Video has shared a trailer for the second season of the thrilling YA series The Wilds. The first season followed a group of teenage girls stranded on a deserted island, exploring the past and present struggles these young women have dealt with. The girls ultimately learn they were part of a social experiment, and this new season ups the ante by introducing a new set of test subjects.
“We wanted to be men, but the truth is some of us were becoming monsters,” narrates one of the new characters. That’s right, there’s another island of teenage boys who must also fight for survival under the watchful eye of the experiment’s puppet master.
The original cast of Sarah Pidgeon, Sophia Ali, Jenna Clause, Reign Edwards, Mia Healey, Shannon Berry, Helena Howard, and Erana James will all be returning to the show, while Zack Calderon, Aidan Laprete, Nicholas Coombe, Charles Alexander, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Reed Shannon, Tanner Ray Rook, and Alex Fitzalan join for the second season.
All eight episodes of The Wilds will premiere Friday, May 6 exclusively on Prime Video. See my review of season 1, below:
