New medical drama series Pulse follows the doctors at Miami’s Level 1 Trauma Center, their lives, personal challenges, and love stories — all while saving the lives of many. The trailer shows third-year resident Dr. Danny Simms (Willa Fitzgerald) being promoted to Chief Resident after her beau Dr. Xander Phillips (Colin Woodell) is suspended.
Unsure if she’s up to challenge, Dr. Natalia Cruz (Justina Machado) believes in her wholeheartedly. When news breaks that a trembling hurricane moves closer to the center, the trauma cases pile up and the hospital goes under lockdown. Cruz makes the decision to bring back Phillips as they are short-staffed and he and Simms must find a way to work together amidst the details of their complicated relationship. From performing under blackouts to sizzling drama, the doctors are ready for anything.
Jack Bannon, Jessie T. Usher, Jessy Yates, Chelsea Muirhead, Daniela Nieves, Néstor Carbonell, Jessica Rothe, Santiago Segura, Ash Santos, and Arturo Del Puerto round out the cast.
