A garden full of deadly secrets blooms in the first look at NBC’s new series Grosse Pointe Garden Society. Melissa Fumero, AnaSophia Robb, Aja Naomi King, and Ben Rappaport star as a preppy garden club that are forced to bury a body. Who’s body? That secret remains in the dirt for now.
What starts as an innocent suburban extra-curricular activity turns into a deadly nightmare as the trailer progresses. The group struggles to keep their secret, and they already have plenty of problems in their personal lives to deal with. Robb stars as Alice, a down on her luck high school English teacher and a seasoned member of the club. King plays Catherine, a mother of two in an unhappy marriage. Rappaport is Brett, a divorced father who manages a garden store to pay the bills. Fumero stars as Birdie, a best-selling author who spends her time smoking, drinking, and causing chaos.
The drama series was created by Jenna Bans and Bill Krebs, the creators of NBC hit drama Good Girls. The trailer promises a glamorous, high society murder where no one is safe, and no one can be trusted.
