Brandy Faces Off With Her Wicked Mother-In-Law In The Front Room Trailer

A24 fans, there’s a new horror film coming! The Front Room follows newly pregnant Belinda (Brandy) and her husband taking on her estranged wicked mother-in-law (Kathryn Hunter). 

The trailer shows Belinda’s husband telling her that his father has passed away. His father’s last request is that he lets Belinda’s mother-in-law move in with them. Offering them money, he’s reluctant while Belinda notes they could pay off their house.

All is fine until Hunter’s character starts making uncomfortable comments about Belinda’s life. A dark, sinister energy fills the house as the mother-in-law believes the holy spirit possesses her. From getting her hands on the newborn baby to her twisted desire to replace Belinda, where will Belinda draw the line?

The Front Room premieres September 6 in theaters.
