What would you do if apes ruled over humanity? I know what I would do... run.

That’s exactly what we see in 20th Century Studios’ Kingdom of The Planet of the Apes trailer. This fourth movie in the modern version of the franchise takes place several generations after 2017’s War for the Planet of the Apes.

Following the events of the trilogies last film where (spoiler alert!) Caesar dies, his son Cornelius will now take center stage as he must carry on his father’s legacy. When a new leader has taken charge of the apes as they assert themselves over humanity, Cornelius sets forth to find freedom and embark on a journey that will have him questioning all that he has known about the past. His choices may very well define the future for apes and humans alike.

The film, directed by Wes Ball, stars Owen Teague as Cornelius alongside Freya Allan, Kevin Durand, Peter Macon, and William H. Macy.
