It was the summer everything began.

We’ve got our first look at Prime Video’s The Summer I Turned Pretty, a coming-of-age story about Isabel “Belly” Conklin who finds herself in a summer love triangle between two brothers. The Summer I Turned Pretty is adapted from the series of books by Jenny Han, best known for her books-turned-films To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and the upcoming spin-off series XO Kitty. Han also serves as the series showrunner alongside Gabrielle Stanton.

Newcomer Lola Tung plays Belly, while Christopher Briney plays Conrad “Connie” Fisher and Gavin Casalegno plays Jeremiah “Jere” Fisher. In the first look images, below, we see them enjoying classic summer activities from hanging at the pool and riding bikes. Jackie Chung, Rachel Blanchard, Gavin Casalegno, Sean Kaufman, Alfredo Narciso, Minnie Mills, Colin Ferguson, and Tom Everett Scott round out the cast.

From first love and first heartbreak to the magic of one perfect summer, The Summer I Turned Pretty hits Prime Video this year. Pre-order the first book with its new series cover, here, and see photos from the show, below:
