Alliances Crumble In The Traitors Episode 5

tv

The Bambis became deer in headlights on the shocking fifth episode of The Traitors season 3. After the shocking betrayal Boston Rob delivered to his fellow Traitor Bob the Drag Queen, the rest of the Traitors fear they cannot trust him. When the team meets in the turret that night, Boston Rob promises he won’t betray Carolyn Wiger or Danielle Reyes unless they try to cross him — but it seems it’s now every Traitor for themselves.

The Traitors decide to murder Robyn Dixon to “cause chaos and confusion,” according to Boston Rob. With all Housewives being targeted, the entire castle is confused. But things move quickly as the next challenge has the contestants solving riddles.

Did I laugh out loud when Tom Sandoval compared himself to Lord Voldemort? Yes. The gang had gathered in a church where Alan Cumming read the riddles aloud for them to solve. Once someone correctly figured it out, they could pick someone to receive a shield. Danielle tried her best to seem like a gameplayer, but, when she saved two faithfuls instead of herself, this led Dolores Catania to boldly pose the question: If Danielle were a Faithful, wouldn’t she give herself the shield at least once?

Danielle knows she screwed up at the game, so she decides to frame Carolyn to all the Faithfuls. However, most of the Faithfuls still have their eyes on Ciara Miller and Nikki Garcia. Nikki, Gabby Windey, and Chrishell Stause — nicknamed the Bambis — have been a united front all season, but Chrishell starts to question if Nikki is truly a Faithful. Chrishell confides in the worst person possible: Boston Rob.

The roundtable is an emotional rollercoaster. While some people are suspecting Danielle and Boston Rob, they successfully survive the night. Chrishell confesses that she thinks Nikki might be a Traitor, which sways a lot of opinions amongst the group. It was nearly a unanimous decision to send Nikki home, with Gabby being the final vote that put the nail in her coffin. Gabby and Chrishell are nearly sobbing as they sell out their friend, which becomes even harder to watch once Nikki confesses she’s been a Faithful this whole time.

With Nikki gone and the Faithfuls in shambles after their decision, the Traitors are in the clear for now. However, once Carolyn learns that Danielle is working against her, she is ready for revenge. Will the Traitors work through this, or will the castle crumble?
