Love is in the air as A24 works to capture out hearts this February!

As part of their Lover’s Series, AMC Theaters will re-release four of A24’s more romantic films including Pearl, A Ghost Story, The Lobster, and The Lighthouse. Moviegoers will also receive an exclusive heart sticker and a free month of AAA24 perks for new subscribers. Grab your tickets here — and learn more about when these films will screen, below!

Pearl

Indulge in an unconventional option for romance with Pearl, directed by Ti West. It follows Pearl (Mia Goth) as a young woman living at an isolated farm tending to her dying father while her husband Howard is away serving in World War I. But Pearl longs for a glamorous life like in the movies and her urges are heightened to new bloody psychopathic levels.

Pearl will screen February 7.

A Ghost Story

Directed by David Lowery, A Ghost Story explores themes of love, loss, grief, and the passage of time. Following a young couple, simply known as C (Casey Affleck) and M (Rooney Mara), they begin their lives in a nice suburban home until C tragically dies in a car accident. As a ghost, C’s lingering spirit observes M’s life as she grapples with loneliness and inevitably moves on. The film provides a profound insight on human connection and the grief that occurs from a human and ghost perspective.

A Ghost Story will re-release on Valentine’s Day.

The Lobster

If you want some more comedic elements, The Lobster from director Yorgos Lanthimos is for you! This film is set in a dystopian society where single people are given 45 days to find a romantic partner or risk being transformed into an animal of their choice. Sounds crazy right? David (Colin Farrell), a recently divorced man, also thinks so as he joins a group of rebels in the woods. However, even their lifestyles come with restrictions which becomes difficult when David falls for fellow rebel (Rachel Weisz).

Enjoy some comedy, romance, and satire with The Lobster re-releasing February 21.

The Lighthouse

Although not overtly a romance film, one may argue The Lighthouse, directed by Robert Eggers, has some slight interpretations of love. Nevertheless, the film tackles two lighthouse keepers Ephraim Winslow (Robert Pattinson) and Thomas Wake (Willem Dafoe) trying to survive on a desolate island. The further they experience isolation; the more tensions rise between them. Manipulation, psychological torment, paranoia, and hallucinations run rampant — all while maintaining the conditions of the lighthouse.

Catch The Lighthouse on February 28.
