The trailer for the highly anticipated second season of Netflix’s Heartstopper is here!

Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie (Joe Locke) are together and back alongside their friends. As Nick navigates how and when he wants to come out, we see a peek into Tao (William Gao) and Elle’s (Yasmin Finney) blossoming relationship. The group also heads to Paris where we get a new look at the teachers, Mr. Ajayi (Fisayo Akinade) and Mr. Farouk (Nima Takeghani). Tara (Corinna Brown) and Darcy (Kizzy Edgell) start to get more serious as a couple, and Isaac (Tobie Donovan) may have a love interest this season! 

Original Heartstopper graphic novel fans have been loving the series adaptation. The show stays true to its source material and expands upon previously limited storylines. It’s been inspiring to see queer stories told in such a positive and optimistic lens. Without discrediting the tribulations of being a young queer person, the series encourages positivity and joy around being a teenager in different romantic and platonic relationships. 

Heartstopper season 2 hits Netflix on August 3.
