Better Nate Than Ever Trailer Centers Around Big Broadway Dreams

Every adventure begins with a dream.

Based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Tim Federle (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series) comes Better Nate Than Ever. The trailer channels Ferris Bueller meet Billy Elliot vibes as Nate works to find his place in the world.

Written and directed by Federle, the Disney musical comedy is a semi-autobiographical story that follows 13-year-old Nate Foster (Rueby Wood) and his big Broadway dreams. But when he Nate can’t even land a role in the school play, he and his best friend Libby (Aria Brooks) sneak off to the Big Apple to prove everyone wrong. The film also stars Lisa Kudrow and Joshua Bassett.

Better Nate Than Ever premieres exclusively on Disney+ this April 1.
