Things just got dark for these home flippers…

Showtime launched the release date for the new A24 collaboration comedy series The Curse, starring Emma Stone, Nathan Fielder, and Benny Safdie, in an eerie new teaser.

The clip shows Stone and Fielder filming the introduction, with big smiles, to their home renovation series outside at the Espanola Fire Department where they will make changes to the department, allowing passive energy to take the lead. As the ominous music progressively heightens, Stone does another take of their intro right before the screen distorts.

The series follows the story of a married couple (Stone and Fielder) as they try to conceive a child while filming a home improvement show on HGTV, produced by Safdie’s character. Things soon take a twisted turn when an alleged curse disrupts their relationship.

Fielder and Safdie co-created, executive produced and wrote the chilling series with Fielder serving as a director. Stone receives executive producer credits along with Dave McCary and Ali Herting.

The Curse premieres on Paramount+ for Showtime subscribers on November 10. Viewers can also tune into the series launching on Showtime on November 12.
