Jenna Ortega Summons Michael Keaton In Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Trailer
Say his name three times and, poof, he’ll appear!
Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for the sequel to the 1988 classic comedy-horror movie Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Returning as the loose-lipped undead is Michael Keaton, alongside co-stars Winona Ryder and Catherine O'Hara.
The film reunites Beetlejuice with the Deetz family after they return to Winter River due to the unexpected death of Lydia’s father. Her rebellious daughter Astrid, played by Jenna Ortega, discovers a town model in the attic and an ad for a "bio-exorcist" that, of course, says "Betelgeuse" on it. When Lydia brings it to her mother, her terror raises questions about the identity of Beetlejuice. Inevitably, she says the three magic words, summoning him despite her mother’s repeated pleas not to. It's her recklessness that brings him back. Yup, the juice is loose!
Tim Burton returns as the director and producer, with a script from Wednesday writers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. Danny Elfman is set to compose the music for the film.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is set to terrorize the big screen on September 6.
