Disney Alums Corbin Bleu and Jason Earles Join HSMTMTS, Season 3 To Include Camp Rock and Frozen Songs
Production has begun on the third season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, with new cast members and music announced for the Disney+ original series. The new season will be set at Camp Shallow Lake as the Wildcats and the other campers stage a production of Frozen and compete to win “best in snow.”
Several Disney Channel alumni will make cameo appearances, including High School Musical star Corbin Bleu, who will play himself, Zombies’ Meg Donnelly as Val, a counselor-in-training who is choreographing Frozen, and Hannah Montana’s Jason Earles as camp director Dewey Wood. Adrian Lyles and Saylor Bell join the cast as new series regulars: Jet, the mysterious new kid, and techie Maddox, respectively.
They’ll join series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series regulars Olivia Rodrigo, Dara Reneé, Joshua Bassett, Sofia Wylie, Matt Cornett, Frankie Rodriguez, Julia Lester, Olivia Rose Keegan, and Kate Reinders.
With this new camp setting, the third season will also feature music from the Frozen, Camp Rock, and High School Musical franchises.
